The Brookland Club hosts some of the most rewarding hunting and fishing experiences to its members. Both leased and owned property host most of Pennsylvania’s hunting and trapping species. These include whitetail deer, black bear, turkey, ruffed grouse, bobwhite quail, crow, rabbit, squirrel, woodchuck, coyote, fisher, foxes, opossum, porcupine, raccoon river otter and, striped skunk. All members and guests of members with current guests buttons may hunt and trap on the owned and leased land of the club in accordance with Pennsylvania Game Commission regulations. As an addition to those rules, only active club members (not spouses or guests) may harvest antlerless whitetail deer on club grounds. Also, no antlerless whitetail deer are to be harvested on WMU 2G club grounds by anyone (member, spouse or guest). Currently the club is offering a $100 bounty to any of its members who lawfully harvest a coyote on club owned or leased grounds.
In addition to hunting and trapping The Brookland Club offers some of the richest stocked waters. The waters owned by the club are stocked twice every year with rainbow and brown trout. The first stocking occurs the week before trout season opens, usually the end of March. A second stocking occurs in the summer. Members and families are welcomed and encouraged to help with trout stocking as well as other fish and game activities such as food plot work, trail maintenance and habitat improvement.
