The Brookland Club held its annual meeting this past week. The rain didn’t keep over 60 members from attending. Along with voting for new board members, everyone enjoyed the much anticipated chicken BBQ lunch. Club president Dave Thomas took time to reflect on the previous year, including commending all of the efforts of members who helped restored the clubhouse, campground, and surrounding club property from the flood in August of 2024. He also thanked all of the members and board for another great year for the club. Dave took time to remind the membership to sell a book of gun raffle tickets to support the club. He also took time to remind everyone in attendance about the club rules and regulations specifically the rules about ATV usage, hunting and fishing rules, as well as tagging and marking tree stands that members are using for the upcoming season with the provided 2025 blue tree stand tags.
